Ingredients
The "Cravin’" Shrimp:
-
1 lb Large Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
-
1 tbsp K&Co. Apothecary Cravin’ Cajun Seasoning (divided)
-
1/2 cup All-purpose flour or Cornstarch
-
1 Egg (beaten)
-
1 cup Panko breadcrumbs or Cornmeal
-
Cooking Spray (Olive or Avocado oil)
The Build:
-
4 French rolls or Hoagie buns (toasted)
-
Shredded Lettuce & Sliced Tomatoes
-
Cajun Remoulade: 1/2 cup Mayo + 1/2 tsp Cravin’ Cajun + a squeeze of Lemon.
Instructions
-
The Breading Station: Set up three shallow bowls.
-
Bowl 1: Flour mixed with 1/2 tsp Cravin’ Cajun.
-
Bowl 2: Beaten egg.
-
Bowl 3: Panko or cornmeal mixed with another 1/2 tsp Cravin’ Cajun.
-
-
The Dredge: Dip each shrimp into the flour, then the egg, then the panko. Press the breading in so it sticks.
-
The Air-Fry: Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray generously with cooking spray (this is the secret to the golden color).
-
The Cook: Air-fry at 400°F for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
-
The Assembly: Slather your toasted rolls with the Cajun Remoulade. Pile on the shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and a mountain of crispy "Cravin’" shrimp.
