Air-Fryer "Cravin’" Cajun Shrimp Po’ Boys

  • Yields: 4 sandwiches

  • Prep time: 15 mins | Cook time: 8 mins

Ingredients

The "Cravin’" Shrimp:

  • 1 lb Large Shrimp (peeled and deveined)

  • 1 tbsp K&Co. Apothecary Cravin’ Cajun Seasoning (divided)

  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour or Cornstarch

  • 1 Egg (beaten)

  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs or Cornmeal

  • Cooking Spray (Olive or Avocado oil)

The Build:

  • 4 French rolls or Hoagie buns (toasted)

  • Shredded Lettuce & Sliced Tomatoes

  • Cajun Remoulade: 1/2 cup Mayo + 1/2 tsp Cravin’ Cajun + a squeeze of Lemon.

Instructions

  1. The Breading Station: Set up three shallow bowls.

    • Bowl 1: Flour mixed with 1/2 tsp Cravin’ Cajun.

    • Bowl 2: Beaten egg.

    • Bowl 3: Panko or cornmeal mixed with another 1/2 tsp Cravin’ Cajun.

  2. The Dredge: Dip each shrimp into the flour, then the egg, then the panko. Press the breading in so it sticks.

  3. The Air-Fry: Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray generously with cooking spray (this is the secret to the golden color).

  4. The Cook: Air-fry at 400°F for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

  5. The Assembly: Slather your toasted rolls with the Cajun Remoulade. Pile on the shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and a mountain of crispy "Cravin’" shrimp.
