K&CO was founded by Chef Brian Kaner, a classically trained chef and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York. After years in professional kitchens, he created K&CO to bring cleaner, fresher, more intentional spice blends into home kitchens.

Cooking for family, friends, neighbors, and hosts while traveling, Chef Brian saw firsthand how thoughtful ingredients and proper technique could elevate everyday meals far beyond what most restaurants were offering.
As more people asked for his recipes, one truth became clear: flavor starts with the quality of the ingredients—especially spices.
Most spices available to home cooks are old, improperly stored, and stripped of their natural oils before they ever reach a shelf. K&CO was created to offer something fresher, cleaner, and more honest.
