Our seasonings are perfect for that great seared piece of meat! Use it before the sear or in a compound butter after a sear. Simply grab your pan, oil, meat, butter, and your favorite K&Co. Apothecary seasoning!
Let that steak get closer to room temperature for about 15 minutes.
Get that medium pan on the stove on high and give it a good ounce of avocado oil.
Take your favorite K&Co. seasoning and dust the outside of your steak and make sure to get all the edges.
Once you see that the oil has a little smoke coming off it throw in the steak. Make sure to lightly press the steak into the pan to allow it to make the most contact with the pan possible.
Once that side of the steak is golden brown, flip the steak.
Once both sides are golden brown and have a light crust move the heat to medium and throw in your butter. Baste the butter over the steak until an internal temperature of 120-125° F for best results.
