Students will learn how to plan, film, cook, style, edit, and publish food-focused content while helping showcase the talent of Hanford High School.

Who we need

Five key roles. One creative crew.

No experience is required. The program is looking for students with passion, reliability, and the drive to build something from the ground up.

Director

Leads the vision, manages the production schedule, and makes sure every episode tells a compelling story.

Culinary Leads

Prepare and style the food so every dish looks as good on camera as it tastes in person.

Cinematographers

Control the look and feel of the video through lighting, camera angles, framing, and movement.

Audio Technicians

Capture clean sound and food effects, from knife work to sizzling pans and kitchen movement.

Editors

Turn raw footage into high-energy, snackable content that keeps viewers watching until the end.

Schedule

After-school production days.

Students meet on Tuesdays for prep, planning, media loading, and editing. Thursdays are for full cooking, live video shooting, and producing multiple dishes.

Tuesdays

About 3 hours after school for prep, planning, director conversations, media loading, and editing.

Thursdays

About 3–5 hours after school for full cooking, live video shooting, and creating 5–6 dishes. Dinner is provided for participating students.
